I promise, TM.
I did not tell him.
And I know he didn’t read the post with your questions because can’t even get on the blog at his office.
Even if he wanted to.
He just has this sixth sense about things that I want him to do. And most of the time, I don’t even have to ask.
He was so fast this afternoon, I couldn’t even get ‘before’ pictures.
Because you know I was just itching to take some pictures of the sloppy innards of my second home car.
Not only was the job well underway before I caught wind of it, but he’d also enlisted the help of lots of little helpers.
And by the time I actually arrived on the scene with camera in hand, the carnage was clearly visible.
When Vivi’s car seat was pulled out my first response was “gross!”
When Vivi’s car seat was pulled out Shepherd’s first response was “M&Ms!”
We didn’t let him have the M&Ms.
We did let him have the penny.
Funny how kids don’t want to buckle themselves when their car seats are in the car.
But when they’re out of the car, it becomes a group sport.
Dalton, still watching. He definitely gets that from his mama’s side of the family.
Sweet Vivienne. Still trying to buckle herself. She has the most amazing spirit… she tries so hard to accomplish new things.
I think she’s going to master that buckle before Shepherd does.
Chris promised the boys a few bucks for helping.
I still don’t know what he promised the little kids. And I’m not going to ask.
Because the job managed to get done.
And now my car? Is spic and span.
See why I love this guy?
If you’re wondering what I was doing while everyone else labored, you can just stop right now.
I managed to get my toenails painted. With nary a nick in the polish.
Thankfully, considering the way my toes looked before today, my husband thinks that’s a pretty fair trade-off.
P.S. Yes. These are those sandals. And I love them.
Way to go Sa-raaaa!!
To join in this week, just copy the code under the Sunday Snapshot button and paste it into the body of your Sunday Snapshot post where you’d like the button to be displayed. Once you hit ‘publish’ it should show up just fine π
Then add your link below.
To do this, go to your blog. Click on the title of your new Sunday Snapshot post. The new url in your browser window will be a direct link to your Sunday Snapshot post. Copy that url and paste it into the inLinkz window below. If it’s just a general link to your blog, I’ll have to remove it. And I hate that.
Feel free to link up on Monday if you’re too busy on Sunday. I’ll leave the inlinkz open through Monday night… because I know some folks who like to link up a little late π

Love those pictures!! Especially the ones of all the kids buckling themselves in and your little sweetie trying hard. JUST like my kids. : )
We have the same J.Cole diaper caddy. I was also relieved to see you harness your seats the same way I do on the captain chairs. I was always worried I was missing some special metal attachment somewhere.
You're family is so beautiful! I think it's adorable that you and your husband share the same clothes.
I love how you took something as ordinary as cleaning out the car and made is hilarious! Thanks for the Sunday morning chuckle~
I think our kids are related … the eating of the car-mat M&Ms sitting in the carseats OUTSIDE of the car … it is oh SO familiar! Although … I'm usually the one wielding the vacuum hose and my toes? … remain … unpainted. (sigh)
Hope you don't mind my Sunday Snapshot … I am praying this reaches lots of people … not on my behalf of course … but for a higher cause.
Blessings!
What a wonderful treat – a clean van. Mmmmm, I think I might have to be more specific in the hint-dropping. Like, a big sign across the refrigerator door specific.
{Rubbing hands together} Hmmmm, what font should I use for my spiffy banner?
P.S. I can't BELIEVE that no one has commented yet about the number of tushie shots in this post. Ya'll are just toooooo polite!
Stef, you are a wise woman. Get those assets in color, so you can hold the memories forever.
Snort. Giggle.
Yeah. I went there. Blame it on the crazed maniacal feeling of ANOTHER sickie in the house. Of lack of caffeine. But I went there.
Man, I sure would like to borrow your cleaning crew sometime to help me wash dishes. π And Vivi? Ummm…too precious for words…
My car needs an overhaul too! Can't imagine all the car seats… love the determination in Vivi… she's adorable- they ALL are!
Blessings!
Funny! I cleaned my car today too! My car was a mess too, but I have only one child! Not sure how one child can make a car so messy.:) The kids also like the treasures that are found! My daughter keeps saying, "Oh wow forgot about that! or "There's part of my breakfast!" Yuck! :0
Your Sunday snapshot is growing every week. There are new blogs to check out every week. Thanks for connecting those of us who are new to the blog world!
How do you get your man and your children to clean so much?
I love it!
Jennifer
Oh my gosh I just cleaned my van last week and what I found under the seats was gross!
How sweet that your man cleaned out your van and I love Shepherd's grin with the M&M you'd think he found gold. Too cute
Don't you just love a clean car?! I *may* be inspired to clean ours…. or at least get someone to do it… π
You crack me in half. First of all, I just "get" you -and I love to laugh! i SO would have been taking pictures of my man cleaning my car with ALL the kids' help -that was awesome..totally blog worthy π
Thanks for the shout out! I loved reading all the snapshots last week – this week, I am a little behind (not to be confused with MY behind being little!)
π
p.s. And go Miss Vivi with the buckle – her persistency will soon pay off, I just know it!
I just love Shepherd's face when he 'found' some M&M's!!! How funny!!!!
What a great guy you have there!!!
Cute toenail polish….are you sporting a green color???? How fun!!
Don't ya just love when the car is clean?! I never like to be the one to clean it, but it sure is fancy driving it for a day or two afterwards. Love watching the kids all pitch in!
What a lot of sweeties you have there! I can't think of a nicer thing for a hubby to do than to clean the car . . . and it looks like everyone had a great attitude helping.
Cute shoes π
BwwwaaaHaHaHaHa!!!! Shhhh-ure. I believe you. And the Tongginator STILL can't buckle herself in. At six. Heh.
