Vivi’s big day

Today is a big day for Vivi.

She’s headed to Boston again.

This time with just her Daddy.

I had to stay behind. I’m in charge of sick bay and it’s many many patients.

And it’s killin’ me not to be there with her.

Today is Vivi’s long-anticipated appointment with the geneticist.

And we’re hopeful for some answers.

Or even some guesses regarding Vivi’s arm deformity.

And the possibility of dwarfism.

We want answers for her. But more importantly, we want to ascertain that we’re doing everything we can to care for her as best we can.

And in our hearts, as we fall in love with our girl more and more…

her ‘diagnosis’ matters less and less. We’re crazy about her.

Just the way she is.

Praying you all get some answers. And that Vivi has a fabulous day with her daddy. 🙂

Praying for the rest of you as well. Hope everyone is well soon.

Sweet, sweet girl! Nothin like a momma's love! (And nothing like a Sponge Bob marathon when you are surrounded by pukers. Hope your kiddos start feeling better!)

Oh Stefanie, this is exactly how I feel about Adam. There is nothing they can tell me now about his medical condition that really matters to me. He is wonderful and we adore him. Really anyone would love to have a son like Adam. We just want to give him the best of everything including his medical care.

Praying for safe travel for Vivi and her daddy so you can love on them soon!

    Have a blessed Mother's Day!

Praying for your Mama's heart while your baby is hopefully getting answers…
I love how you worded that there is nothing you can possibly find out about her medically that would change a thing. I so get that.
Also praying that your sickbay numbers decrease FAST!

When I read your posts about Vivi and the love you feel for her, it reminds me of my sweet Vivi and how much I love her despite her medical problems.

Hope Vivi's appt. with the geneticist will bring about some answers for you all!

I love all these pics – she's just blossomed and bloomed right where she was planted, hasn't she?! Gorgeous.

Whatever the answers are, will be, will become, the fact remains that she is a gift, just as she is. You have been abundantly blessed!
