those are such beautiful letters when put together… ahhhh..

so your post the other day kicked me in the butt to share with my hubby- the little girl i'm in love with — her file may open up to us non-LID (heck, i haven't even filled out an agency application yet!) folks.. so he says we'll talk when he comes home.. not sure what that implies;)

but back to you– i think this is cause for celebration… as in date night.. as in a nice glass of wine… way to go girl!!!

ps– don't forget to breathe (in AND out )

slowly. hard to get to the phone when you're passed out:)

LID means that our paperwork is logged in with China. So now we can be 'matched' off the new shared listing that will be released late Sunday night. Which means we might get a referral… which is essentially a 'file' representing a little peanut that needs a mama and a daddy!

Congratulations, Stefanie! 10 is great number. I just can't believe you are LID before me. We started back in March….but, we are still raising funds to get DTC. I should pick your brain about how to do an online raffle. Maybe we'll travel around the same time anyway! So happy for you and the luck soon to be!

We aren't waiting to be matched as we chose a 9 yr old boy from an agency list earlier this year. Our LID is 9/7, though, so very possibly we could be in China at the same time! If you want to see our boy, our blog is at http://afamilyofsix.blogspot.com/p/pauls-timeline.html

Congratulations! I'm hoping for a speedy log-in too! My thinking with the deadline is that if I have my paperwork there close to the deadline, it's their fault if they take forever logging it in, don't you think?

If the CCAA asks nicely, I MIGHT grant them an extension on their log-in. They may need to file a supplement with me, I'll see if I'm feeling generous.

Oh yes, I've heard they're good, but that's not our agency. I was just wondering if we would travel around the same time if we were both matched next week. This is our first adoption so I'm still a bit hazy on how this all works! We're I800. Were you able to keep your 600?

OK – I'll make it about 63 hours to go – LID – what a wonderful thing to be 'past'!! Remember – eat – and sleep as much as you can until Sunday night – that way you are ready for an 'allnighter' if you need it!

    hugs – aus and co.

    Hey Hoots Momma!
The shared list is released on Sunday night (Monday in China) and our agency will be doing everything they can to lock in a child's file for us. So Sunday night, we might meet our daughter for the first time! Which, as of now, is actually more like 63 hours?
    Oh my.

Oh Stefanie, I'm living vicariously through you! We are just about to submit our I800A and our wait depends on how long it takes to get our 797. (Our dossier is done with the exception of that approval and Chinese consulate authentication.) We're hoping we'll know who our new son or daughter is by Thanksgiving. We're also working with WACAP and they've been so wonderful already.

I can't wait to see what little princess God has planned for your family!

    Blessings,
