Vivi and Poppy

Alternately titled:

I Will Be Getting Up in Less Than 10 Hours to Rouse My Kids for Their First Day of School.

And yes, I am in denial.

So what better to do with my time – on this last day before school – than take pictures of Poppy and Vivienne together.

It has been on my to-do list, m’kay?

At first, Poppy wasn’t too happy about having her picture taken, as it required her to have her beloved sippy cup removed from her mouth.

Think Linus and his blanket.

But after she saw her big sister Vivienne having so much fun, well, Poppy changed her story.

Let’s just say, that’s becoming a theme around here.

A little, ahem… not-always-so-friendly competition is brewing.

Thankfully, the worst that’s gone down so far between these two wildcats was a little tussle.

A cat fight of the tiniest proportions, if you will.

But when they’re this cute, it’s hard to do much more than just smile, scoop ’em up, and love the dickens out of ’em.

I second Angie D’s comment. Miss Vivi looks quite grown up. I’m glad we finally get to see Poppy smiling.

There’s something about being a big sister that is making Vivi look like such a big girl. You two are too cute!

LOVE, LOVE seeing Miss Poppy smile, she is so adorable. Her eyes are amazingly beautiful. And of course as always, Miss Vivienne is a true beauty as well, she reminds me of Mylee.

OH! OH! Nothing brightens up a rainy day in England like waking up to these!

Quite frankly, it’s made me feel slightly faint, my brain can’t handle the cuteness obviously, I think I’ll need to go back to bed for an hour.

I agree Rita, Vivi looks so grown up all of a sudden against her wee sister and as for a wee bit of rivalry? I am not at all surprised, if someone else came along to threaten my title of ‘most adorable wee child on the planet’ I think I would fight to keep it too! hehe.

Thanks for these Steph, I have no idea how you have time to take the photos you do, let alone blog, but as a single lady who could never have children, sharing your beautiful family is so much appreciated x

They are so cute together! I can’t believe how big Vivi looks, now that’s she’s an older sister!

Such beautiful girlies! It will be fun for you (and trying at times, I’m sure!) to watch their relationship grow.

    All the best,
