evidently…

he didn’t get the memo.

You know, the doggie memo.

That shoes and sticks and balls are for chewing.

And that prickly pine cones?

Are not.

But I guess I shouldn’t have expected anything less from our boy.

Seamus has been known to do his own thing.

And, in general, prefers to veer from the regular doggie rules of engagement.

Our special dog even likes to have us throw his beloved pine cone for him.

If we can get him to let it go long enough.

And when it’s finally launched, he bounds with unadulterated joy in that direction.

As fast as he can.

And sometimes, he even brings it back.

And we begin again.

Oh, Seamus.

What would we do with just a regular dog?

I do beleive Seamus is one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen. What an expressive face – so much personality!

It’s the first time I see your dog and…

    …I’m.. in love. 😐

And this comes from someone who stated in her ‘about page’ that ‘dislikes dogs’.

I HAD to make it official: http://sophibelle.ro/blog/sophi/ 😀

We had a dog that did the same thing. She had her own special reserve of pinecones and loved them!

Oh dogs adore chewing on pine cones! Ouch! But they do love it!
That pic of him bounding around with the cone in his mouth makes me happy!

This just makes me smile- we have a boxer (mix) and I just love it when he gets into that playing mode. Adorable!
