    • Sunday Snapshot

a moment

On Sunday afternoon, I was doing what I love to do.

Taking pictures of my kids.

They were playing in their new playhouse – aka cardboard basketball hoop box – and to bring in more light, I opened the front door.

After snapping a few pictures, just inside the entryway, I turned around.

And this is what I saw.

A moment.

An I-can’t-belive-I-actually-have-my-camera-to-capture-this moment between my kiddos.

Who may not siblings by birth, but they are, most definitely, family.

Reminds me of my favorite quote from Jackie Chan in the Spy Next Door—-
Family isn’t whose blood your carry. It’s who you love, and who love you”

AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IT WAS!!!!

These are so sweet Stef……. you can totally see the love they have for one another!

I think that is what I like most about photos taken from behind. You can’t see their faces, but you can FEEL their emotions!

    xoxo,

What a great catch. So glad you had your camera there. Makes a mama’s heart sing to see those moments, let alone capture that moment in time on film. (or electrons. whatever.)

I absolutely LOVE this Stefanie!! I love it even more that it is spontaneous. That is the icing on the cake.

    It is so colorful too.

Thank you for your encouraging comment yesterday. it really hit me and it reminded me to lean on the Lord as I try to achieve this goal. He gave me this body to be healthy and care for it and what I remember about your Daniel eating plan is that you said it made all the difference to do something like this with and for the Lord. So, last night I prayed about it and will definitely lean on Him.

This is the most beautiful photo I’ve seen in ages! You’re right… family isn’t just a blood relative, and in fact, more often than not involves many others!!

    So precious!
……But you DO know they are actually plotting on how to get rid of that wild Ms. T, don’t you?? haha!

I can’t believe you didn’t do something to mess up the shot–I would have run over and hugged them before I got the final shot, thus ruining the moment.

    Incredibly beautiful shots!!!
As the totally smitten grandmother of a 6 year-old adopted from China, I know personally that blood doesn’t matter. It’s the livin’ and the lovin’ that make a family!!!!!!!!!!!! : )
