my guy

… is going on a really big job interview today. He’s already been through an initial interview and a phone interview. Today is his face-to-face interview.

Oy.

This interview could possibly result in a dream job for him… but the chances of him actually getting this gig are pretty slim.

Like 0.1%. Because, evidently, there are a whole lot of other people out there who would also love this dream job.

Of course, we believe in a God who makes the seemingly impossible possible. But more than getting this job, we want to pursue God’s plan for our lives. Chris’ future employment is a really big deal because it will determine where we live, what we do and how Chris will be devoting much of his time and talent.

Honestly, despite the occasional nagging fear to the contrary, we both just really want Chris to have the job that God wants for him.

If you think of it, I would be so grateful if you said a prayer for my guy today. His interview is at 10:30 EST.

Will keep y’all posted.

I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
