my favorite face photo

It was hard.

But in the end, I chose this picture of Victoria, taken the very last day of 2011. Just days after she graduated from college.

There are a whole slew of absolutely stunning photos entered in the I Heart Faces “Best Face Photo of 2011” challenge.

Like this one.

And this one.

As the rules would have it, I can only choose from pictures that I have taken. Which is really quite limiting.

But I do truly love this one. It’ll be sitting on my nightstand soon.

It’s special to me because it captures my biggest baby at such a pivotal time in her life. She’s just about to venture out on her own for the first time.

And it captures her as she is – happy, carefree and… dadgum it, so very young and beautiful.

Enjoy your youth, my love. Enjoy it.

The image is just outstanding – brilliant work. And at the risk of sounding like a ‘funny uncle’ – the model is, in fact, simply beautiful! That pic just says “I have the whole world at my feet – my whole life in front of me” – brilliant!

    hugs – aus and co.

I can see why you chose it!! Something about the child that made you a mama! And Victoria doesn’t take a bad pcture does she?!

I reckon it would’ve been a super hard pick, considering you have SO MANY BEAUTIFUL faces in your family! You did good – its a stunning picture!
