I wasn’t prepared for the love you guys have showered on us, our baby Clementine and this Found shirt.
Over $9000 in donations to help us bring her home.
I underestimated you, and I am sorry. But in a very happy, crazy blessed way.
So, there will be a re-print. Amazes me that I am saying this less than 48 hours after announcing our fundraising efforts… I was truly doubtful when my prayer partner and previous Wild-Olive-cohort encouraged me to go ahead and order the full 300. Not only doubtful, I was scared silly.
Anyway, I wanted to post today to keep y’all up to date on what sizes we still have. Clear a few things up. And to let you know that we will do everything we can to ensure everyone who is joining us to bring Clementine home will have a tangible reminder.
First off, there has been some confusion in how this whole things works so let me take just a second to clarify. If you would like to participate – with prayers and/or financial support – we would love it!
You can either:
1. Donate through the You Caring site to make a financial donation. Once your donation has been received, I will collect the emails from PayPal every night and email all donors (within 24 hours of your donation) with a short form where you can let choose the size tee you want, as well as input your shipping address and any prayers and/or specific verses you will be praying for Clementine. This form supersedes all other emails/texts/messages to me about the sizes you’d like… it’s the only way I can stay organized!
2. Contact me via email (in the upper right corner) if you cannot make a financial donation. I will be happy to get a Found t-shirt in your hands if you are partnering with us to pray our precious girl home. Once we chat I will send along the same form as above, where you can choose the size you want, input your address and share the prayers and/or verses you will be praying for our girl.
If you still have questions, please feel free to leave a comment here or email me – want to be sure everyone has their questions answered.
Next up is where we are on shirt sizes available, etc. Here is where things stand:
If you donated on Saturday or Sunday, and I already have your completed form but don’t have the size you requested, expect to hear from me shortly with some options (either waiting on the size you want to be reprinted or choosing a different size). If you don’t hear from me in the next few days, assume your tees will be on the way shortly.
If you donate today or after, and want a size we no longer have on hand, you can either select a size on the form that we do still have available, or select the size you want, knowing you’ll wait until we receive the reprints. Thinking we will place the final re-order in about 2 weeks, so if you choose to wait, you could expect to receive your tee in about a month. I will not be able to ship tees separately, so if you requested more than one and we are out of one but have one, you’ll need to wait for both.
Here are the sizes we are currently out of:
Kids – 4-5, 7-8 and 10-12
Classic – M, XL and 2XL
Fitted – S
I can confirm that we have been able to convince the artist to go back to the drawing board. So there will be a guys version available of the Found t-shirt, to be printed when we re-print the girly version. Expect news on that in the next week. I am seriously so excited… this is so fun!
And for everyone who has asked about So Loved, the printer had issues with the machine used for So Loved. Amazingly, I placed the order for it more than a week before Found, but had Found in my hands last week. Figured this is the way the Lord intended it to be so I didn’t lose my mind with both arriving at the same time. I have been told So Loved should be on my doorstep this week, but do not have tracking info yet. Will post updates when it arrives.
Again, we are forever grateful to everyone who has sent up prayers on Clementine’s behalf, made a donation or sent along some love on Facebook, in a message or email.
We are astounded by the way the Lord has rallied His people on behalf of one little bitty girl on the other side of the world. Thank you for being a part of something so amazingly beautiful.
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2:10
SOOO Excited for you all!!!!! It’s awesome to check the blog every few hours and see that total climb! Praise God, for He is good, ALL THE TIME!!!!!!
Oooooh, can’t wait to order a guys’ version for my sweet hubby. I’m so thrilled that your fundraising is going well!!
YYEESS!!! God is good.
The shirts are so cute! I cannot wait to get ours!
So incredibly happy for you, my friend. We are, OF COURSE! praying your sweet girl home. And will continue to do so for the whole long journey. You and your Wild Olive co-horts were SUCH an encouragement to our journey to Mei Mei, it will be an honor to follow and pray as He leads my thoughts and heart to do.
I thought this fitting for you guys, today:
1 Chronicles 16:26-28 New International Version (NIV)
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and joy are in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Does this mean you are as BIG as a nation? Or that you come from many nations? Or both? 🙂
God at work. I love it.
