So Loved – now available

At long last, about 3PM yesterday afternoon, a big box of So Loved tees was dropped at my front door.

Now the adventure begins. I say *adventure* because this is completely unknown territory for me. Yes, Wild Olive sold So Loved before, but it was just that – as Wild Olive. Now it’s a solo venture. And I’m the one going solo.

I didn’t wrap the shirts. I didn’t run the numbers. And I certainly didn’t write the checks.

And I’ll admit, I’m a teensy-tiny bit scared, because all that’s on me now. But I’m determined to not let a little fear stop me.

Because right now there are little ones in China with heart defects who wait. In battered cribs with chipping paint. With blue lips and labored breathing. Susceptible to sicknesses that can steal their life without warning, just like my Esther.

And often the only thing standing between them and a new heart is funding.

But I know I can’t repair a heart. And I don’t think you can either. But funding?

I believe that, we can do, together.

so-loved-color2

So will you join me in this crazy adventure to help heal the hearts of orphans in China? 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each So Loved tee will go to fund this effort. I will regularly post updates of the amount raised and, once we have enough raised to help fund a surgery, we’ll send it off with big, heartfelt prayers, and wait for updates on our sponsored kiddo.

My goal is to be completely transparent. And in being transparent, I want to share how each $35 donation will be broken down. This is subject to adjustments as we go, but if/when it does, I will post here before that change goes into effect. As always, the goal will be generate as much funding as possible for kiddos in China who need heart surgery. But a secondary goal will be to keep So Loved afloat. Costs are approximate but as close as I can get without being an accountant. Because an accountant, I am not.

$2.50 – shipping for each tee/First class
+ $.50 – cost for labels/ink/mailers
+ $10 – wholesale cost/tee blanks + printing + shipped to me
————————————————————–
$13.00 – total cost/tee delivered to you

Then, in order to keep this effort financially growing, I want to *pay it forward* with $5 of each tee purchased going to pay 1/2 of a future shirt. This will allow us to place larger orders each time for So Loved, bringing costs down and increasing inventory.

$13.00 – total cost/tee delivered
+$5.00 – to *pay it forward*
————————————————————–
$18.00 – total cost/tee + paying it forward to grow So Loved

Soooooo,

$35 – donation/tee
– $18.00 – total cost/tee
– $1.50 – paypal charges/$35 transaction
————————–
$15.50 from each So Loved tee going directly to fund an orphan’s heart surgery in China

Honestly, I pretty darn excited about that. And I hope you are, too.

So, go purchase your So Loved. We have lots of women’s fitted and classic sizes and girls’ sizes 4/5, 6/6x, 7/8 and 10/12. Something for just about any one of any size.

So incredibly grateful the Lord gave us a way to fund this initial purchase because apart from Him, none of this would be possible.

It is my prayer that He would use So Loved to save many broken hearts.

P.S. A big neck squeeze to my sweet friend Jessica from One Willow for her lovely images of So Loved.

Would love to order one, possible a few, but can’t find a size chart. Could you please post one or just the t-shirt brands, so I could look the sizes up? Thank you!

      Hey Shayna,
I just added sizing charts to both the women’s and the kids’ pages. Hope this helps 🙂
