Sunday Snapshot: Dalton this summer

Since celebrating Poppy’s 2 years home with a photo shoot, I’ve been taking my kids out – one by one – to capture them this summer. Given, it’s almost fall now, but I’m not one to let a technicality stop me.

Sophie’s photos are here and Isabelle’s are here. Just a few more to go.

Okie-dokie. Back to Dalton.

When trying to decide what “favorite thing” to bring along on his photo shoot, Dalton had to choose between the dog and the basketball.

The dog won.

I told y’all that my kids are even more smitten than I am.

And as you can see, I wasn’t exaggerating.

Noah even sleeps with Dalton at night.

Dalton, who has occasionally lost sleep over fear of bad guys and boogeymen, no longer loses sleep.

With his brave protector on watch.

And when my boy is happy, I’m happy.

Just one more reason to love the little guy.

What a handsome young man you have there!
And a boy and a dog? Doesn’t get much better than that!

Nothing more heartwarming that a boy and his dog. Dalton and Noah are adorable. Beautiful photos!

I am absolutely loving the curve of the road behind Dalton in the top photo, it makes a sensational shot. Its almost like ‘they are growing up, time to take more photos, as they carry on down the winding path ahead of them in life’. Thanks
